HeartCode BLS is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative method for completing an initial or renewal BLS Course. After completing the curriculum, students are tested on knowledge learned then begin a skill-based check off with an AHA Instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Students also complete the hands-on skills session with a compression rate monitor manikin for final check off to receive a BLS Provider card which is valid for 2 years.
